Russell L. Rothman, MD, MPP

Dr. Rothman is Professor of Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Health Policy, Ingram Professor of Integrative and Population Health, and the Vice President for Population Health Research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He also serves as the Director of the Vanderbilt Center for Health Services Research and Chief of the Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Section. Dr. Rothman's research focuses on improving care for adult and pediatric patients with diabetes, obesity and other chronic diseases. His work addresses health communication, health literacy/numeracy, and other social and behavioral factors to improve health.

Lee M. Sanders, MD, MPH

Dr. Sanders is a general pediatrician and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford University, where he is Chief of the Division of General Pediatrics, Co-Director of the Complex Care Clinic, and Senior Faculty at the Center for Policy, Outcomes and Prevention. He is an NIH-funded researcher whose scholarship examines the role of parent health literacy as a moderator of child health disparities, in order to inform health policy and health care system redesign.

Eliana M. Perrin, MD, MPH

Dr. Perrin is a general pediatrician and the tenured Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Primary Care in the Department of Pediatrics and the Schools of Medicine and Nursing at Johns Hopkins University. She has previously been the Division Chief of Primary Care Pediatrics and Director of the Duke Center for Childhood Obesity Prevention at Duke University School of Medicine. She is an NIH-funded and PCORI-funded researcher whose scholarship focuses on what primary care pediatrics care providers can do to prevent obesity and its health consequences by partnering with parents and families. She studies best practices for promoting healthy eating, physical activity, and reducing obesity stigma.

H. Shonna Yin, MD, MS

Dr. Yin is a general pediatrician and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Population Health at the NYU School of Medicine / Bellevue Hospital Center. She is nationally recognized for her research accomplishments focused on health literacy as a key factor related to adverse child health outcomes and poverty-associated health disparities. She is an NIH-funded researcher whose work in developing health literacy-informed intervention strategies addressing pediatric obesity prevention, medication safety, and chronic disease management, have been recognized as models for transforming care delivery, and have informed CDC and FDA initiatives.

Alan M. Delamater, PhD

Dr. Delamater is a clinical psychologist and Professor of Pediatrics and Psychology at the University of Miami, where he is Director of Clinical Psychology in the Department of Pediatrics. He has received many research grants from the NIH and has published widely in the field of pediatric psychology, focusing on the psychosocial and behavioral aspects of obesity and diabetes in children and adolescents.

Kori B. Flower, MD, MS, MPH

Dr. Flower is a general pediatrician and Associate Professor of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her work focuses on improving the quality of primary care for children and addressing language barriers to care.
